Best Animated Voices (celebrity)

My posts have been non-existent lately! Sorry about that. But I've come up with a new list. I will try to post a new entry each day... I'll do my best.

I love cartoons! Some of my all time favorite films are animated, and I love it when the vocal performance is exceptional. I would enjoy seeing a new Oscar category: "Best Vocal Performance." Some of the best work is done by hired actors who are unknowns--like with a lot of the early Disney films and even the early 90's films (Jodi Benson in Little Mermaid, Scott Weinger Aladdin). But then a trend started with hiring celebrities to do the voice work. Sometimes it works really well (you'll see from my list of top 5), and sometimes it doesn't (Brad Pitt, Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas).

Anyway, here are my top five favorite celebrity vocal performances! Enjoy!

Number 5:
Billy Crystal and his performance in Monster's Inc. of Mike Wazowski. Loved it! He didn't just use his own voice, but an original creation that was pure magic. Hilarious!
Best line: Mike: Oh, hey. We're rehearsing a - a scene for the upcoming company play called uh, "Put That Thing Back Where It Came From Or So Help Me". It's a musical.
[singing]
Mike: Put that thing back where it came from or so help me... so help me, so help me and cut. We're still working on it, it's a work in progress but, hey, we need ushers.

June Photos

Summer is in full swing...

Brynn and Max on the Hickman Bridge hike in Capitol Reef. We went to the ranch for the Radebaugh reunion.

Brynn has this funny eye thing with her left eye. Sometimes it's lazy in her photos. Love it!

Adam's Bridge under the shade of the Hickman Bridge.

There was a ton of water in the cottonwoods behind the ranch.

Pure beauty.

The Orem Owlz had their home-opener last night and Adam got to do a three-legged race. He fell flat on his nose, but had a fun time.

Happy Father's Day, Dad!

Max and Dad at Disneyland
I just wanted to mention how great my dad is! I put him through quite a bit of grief as a teenager, but he always stuck in there with me. He is loved by everyone who knows him and I get more compliments about my dad. I am so proud of the person he is and I love him so much! Happy Father's Day, Daddo!

So Excited!

Great Read

I just finished reading Columbine by Dave Cullen. What a fascinating book! So many things about this event were misunderstood when it happened. This book was ten years in the making so that all the facts could come to life. Crazy to think it was 10 years ago. Anyway, if you want a great read, pick it up.

What to blog...

I really don't know what to blog about right now. I think it's going to be harder to blog during the summer because I'm not on the computer as much and there's not as much time to think about things. I'll try to come up with some good stuff soon.

In the meantime, here's a photo to make you drool: I had lunch today at P712 (best food in Utah) and had their awesome braised beef panini with couscous. Hands down the best cous I have ever had!

Congrats my Seniors!

A few years ago I taught the best sixth grade class in the world! My life was changed as a result of this class and I miss them like crazy. They graduated this week and I am so proud of them. I performed with Comedy Sportz last night at their senior all nighter. It was a hilarious show! After the show I called all my kids up to the stage for a photo. A few random jokers popped in (dorks), but I got a great reunion pic!
